DJ Illatek is a regular night club DJ and event host with over 10 years experience who has played everywhere from student raves in Birmingham to upmarket footballers hang outs in London,and further afield with residencies in Tenerife, Bombay and Faliraki.
You may also find him hosting events like The Acton Carnival or backstage at The Wireless Festival or on the red carpet at The MOBO’s.

No genre is out of bounds for him and he can often be seen to play a set with 5 different music styles, which has seen him winning two local DJ competitions. He has had residencies at NYT, 10 Rooms and Trap in Central London and currently he is resident DJ at The Embassy Club in Mayfair, London on Saturdays and at Flavas in Ealing on Fridays.

DJ Illatek’s style is not confined to one genre. He will play everything from RnB, Hip Hop, Funky House, Garage, House, Dance, Rock, Disco, Dubstep, Grime, DnB and his own mashups and remixes.

DJ Illatek’s style can be heard on one of his two recent mix CDs, “Fever Pitch” and “The Rescue Mission”. To date over 1000 of these have been given out to ravers for free!

Illatek also throws his own events from time to time and has promoted nights in Birmingham, Northampton and London, most recently in 2009 with a monthly night at The Blag Club in Ladbroke Grove together with Dev from Radio 1 and Darren B (Trevor Nelson’s producer) which saw people such as Bashy, More Fire Crew and Ricky & Melvin from Kiss turn up just to have a good time! He is currently planning a new monthly night so watch this space!

As an official Warner/Atlantic Street Team DJ he has been a part of promotional marketing campaigns for Twista, Sean Paul, Fabolous, Little Brother, Brandy and more.

Recently Illatek has started working more closely with local artists such as A G Dolla whom he has done exclusive mixes for which are on http://www.myspace.com/agdolla

He has also taken part in Sam Khan’s “I Think I Love Your Lady” video feat Charlie Sloth, as a DJ, which to date has received over 107,000 views and is playlisted on channel AKA.
